I was born in Norwich, Norfolk and now live with my husband Bob in Surlingham, a small village just outside Norwich. I paint in oils using the techniques of the classical Dutch Masters with attention to detail and lush textures. Mainly still life and portraits and occasionally some landscapes. 1969-1971 University of London Goldsmith’s College where I trained as a teacher specialising in art and ceramics. 2000 Best Collection of Five Miniatures Award in the RMS . 2003 Second Prize in the Fairman Members Subject Award. 2006 President’s Special Commendation for a larger miniature. 2006 Honourable Mention The Gold Bowl Award. 2007 Honourable Mention The Gold Bowl Award . 2010 Best Collection of Five Miniatures Award. 2014 Four Portraits Commissioning the RMS . 2015 President Special Commendation in the RMS.
