Born in London 1953. Educated Beaconsfield High School. Trained as a nurse in London from 1971-1978,then became a full time professional artist specializing in portraits in oil. From 1980’s painted portrait miniatures exhibiting with the Hilliard Society (Member from 1994-2009), the Royal Miniature Society, The Royal Academy, The Royal Portrait Society, The Royal Institute of Oil Painters, The Discerning Eye, Society of Women Artists, Chelsea Art Society, National Open Art, Women In Art Fair, Bath Society of Artists, Ruth Borchard Self Portrait Prize plus exhibitions in New York, Malta, France, Australia and others. Winner of numerous awards.
Positions of Office: Past President Society of Women Artists (2000-2005), President of the Royal Miniature Society (2004-2013) Honorary President Royal Miniature Society (2013-). Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts ( 2000-) Awarded MBE ( Member of the Order of the British Empire) for Services to the Arts.
Included in numerous publications and interviewed on TV and Radio.
Collections include: His Majesty The King, HRH Princess Michael of Kent, The Worshipful Company of Clockmakers, The Worshipful Society of Apothecaries and numerous private collections.
