Karyn is an artist based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and is primarily self-taught. She enjoys
drawing and painting a variety of subjects, including wildlife, the human figure, portraits,
landscapes, architecture, and botanical themes. An internationally recognised miniaturist, Karyn
regularly exhibits her work both locally and abroad and has won numerous awards. She holds a
full membership of the Royal Miniature Society (RMS) in the UK and has been appointed to its
council. Additionally, she is a member of the Miniature Society of Washington, DC. (MPSGS).
Her large pencil drawings have been featured in two American publications: “Strokes of Genius
5” and “Art Journey Animals: A Collection of Inspiring Contemporary Masterworks.”
